Kim Lawrence Davis passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep on July 11, 2017 at the age of 66. He was born January 29, 1951 in Misawa, Japan, the son George Herbert Davis, a WWII fighter pilot, and Elizabeth Kathleen (Newton), an Australian war bride. Kim was a businessman with an artistic, innovative spirit who has been a fixture in the Pine Castle community of South Orlando for 52 years.

Kim Lawrence Davis passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep on July 11, 2017 at the age of 66. He was born January 29, 1951 in Misawa, Japan, the son George Herbert Davis, a WWII fighter pilot, and Elizabeth Kathleen (Newton), an Australian war bride. Kim was a businessman with an artistic, innovative spirit who has been a fixture in the Pine Castle community of South Orlando for 52 years.





He is preceded in death by both his parents. He is survived by three sons, Jason G. Davis of Pine Castle, Florida, Kelly L. Davis (Shanna) of Winter Park, Florida, and Ryan M. Davis (Stacy) of Orlando, Florida; five grandchildren: Brianna, Jonah, Elisabeth, Kai, Ka’eo and two step-grandchildren: Jovanna Neil and Sakile Thomas; one sister Dorothy J. Smith of Mansfield, Georgia whom he called Cherry and everyone else calls Dottie, and Darlyne Jones Davis, his ex-wife and friend.





The presence, stories, and sense of humor of this father, grandfather (Boompah), brother, and friend will be greatly missed.



Services will be held at the Pine Castle Funeral Home, Sunday, July 23rd 2-6pm.
